The company was formed in 1965 and amalgamated with Kaywoodie, Yello-bole and Medico pipes. When S.M. Frank closed the Richmond Hill plant in the early 1980's all the brands they offered were Italian made. These arrangements ceased in favor of a domestic pipemaker in the early 1990s.

To the best of our knowledge,
Jeantet is the only brand using an octogonal logo outline, particularly for its export pipes. We assume this label is a sub-brand or a second of the French company in Saint Claude, as well as:
Duke of Kent,
Grand Duke,
Hermes,
Sir Bruce
