Onyx

Brylon is a synthetic material (high temperature resin mixed with wood flour) invented by S.M. Frank Co in 1966. It's a cheaper, more resistant to cracking alternative to briar. However Brylon is heavier in the mouth and hotter when smoked. S.M. Frank Co has also used this material on its Yello-Bole brand.
